I can't wait for the new season! It's been way too long.
Just returned from Ca this last week, spent some time on set and saw the new trailer for the upcoming 2 hour thrill ride they will kick the season off with.. all I can say is WOW... The trailer should be hitting the web soon.. im sure of that and they were talking about placing it in theaters which will be really cool... it is intense !! Here is a shot of Jon and I counting bullet holes Gonna be a great season!! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry to revive an old thread, but what happened to the trailer? I never saw anything. And are those bullet holes real, or are they like the decal stickers you see people sticking on trucks?
Real Holes.. didnt see how they made them, but no stickers were used. It was amazing the degree of realism put into the set. The FX team they have is truly a group of artists! Being there in person I was in awe of the degree of realism, rooms blown apart, first aid kits littering the floor.. I literally thought I was on the scene of a terrorist attack!! Even seeing the make up on the characters, gun shot wounds ... lets just say.. its a grown kids dream to be able to go to work and blow the $#!T out of stuff and get paid for it!! Not sure if/when the trailer will be released I will ask and report back. Cheers Image Unavailable, Please Login
Stackhouse, Wow, you even dress like Tim McGraw haha Did they get new writers for this season? I was really upset with the writers of last season. They tried to turn it into a f'n soap opera.
Let me try to explain it to you: Jack is sort of a modern day American version of James Bond. No matter how much the US gov't and his colleagues screw him over he always does the right thing. He would kill his best buddy to save America from terrorists. He is loyal to the POTUS no matter how big a jerk he/she is. And he is really abused...beyond anything imagineable. but always remains loyal and true. He is more resourceful than McGiver. No matter what the situation and no matter how much everybody else screws it up, Jack always saves the day. The writing is excellent. the 24 hour/ 24 episodes time line is very realistic. the special effects are fantastic and the acting is tops. So for many of us 24 is addictive. the writers strike almost sent us over the edge (my wife likes it is much as I do) but we bought the old series and got our fix. Trust me, Jack is going to kick some serious hiney tonight. Enjoy the 2 hr special tonight.

Just saw the new 24: Redemption. And I like the way this show is going. It is a lot darker and serious then previous seasons. Can't wait for Season 7 to start!
Woo Wooo I started watching mid way thru Season 2 and was instantly hooked! Even tho it seems like 24days then 24hrs and the story arc are of course over the top I enjoy the show for what it is, action action action and Jack
I know this is a few hours late, i'm catching up from a 2 week vacation, but is anybody looking for an extra thumb??
i ll wait for the end of season and watch them all because so far i really am not thrilled by the plot or the cast.
All i can say is, don't piss off Jack. Oh man, these last hours he is out of control and nobody is safe.
Jack has certainly been carving his way through the bad guys lately. The fire place poker was a nice touch... CH
