    I like what you have done with the gotti wheels. I also have them and like the look except I don't like the gold. I have been planning on having the gold areas on them painted silver. After seeing yours I think I will be much happier with mine once the gold is gone.

    I went thru a lot of "what if" ideas about this refinishing - I can send some pics to you if you want to see all of the different ideas that I considered.

    At the end of the day, I removed the center sections and bead blasted them, which removed all of the old gold paint and left a slightly textured finish.

    I then had these bare center sections clear anodized for protection.

    There's now a nice subtle contrast between the textured center section and the polished outer rims.

    I just used the clone tool to stamp the background away from my car picture and replace it with the landscape picture. To make it more convincing I'd have to spend a lot of time getting the edges of the car crisper, but then I realized that the reflections in the paint are not compatible with the landscape background! Just thought the color contrast was interesting! Ciao, Dennis
