And Charles Revson's (of Revlon) yacht, Ultima II, was no puddle jumper either. I saw it in the 70's berthed in Palma de Mallorca, it was one magnificent vessel. Anyone else ever see it?
just out of curiosity, what benefit does one derive from having his/her own satellite (aside from the obvious bragging rights...)? i assume you can't control its orbit. does it just make it cheaper to use a satellite phone?..instead of going through iridium or something...
