Official 2008 Tri-State Spotters Thread

Today...black 550 Maranello on Boston Post Rd in Mamaroneck. If you're on here, I was in the SL that cut you off... (no, it wasn't me cutting you off! lol)

 

I saw that guy the other day on Harrison Ave. I saw YOU pulling out onto rt. 1 just outside the Rye Golf club the other day.

yesterday

5:00 West Side Hwy northbound - red 599

7:45 south on Washington - black F430 Spider on a flat bed. I think the license plate said "Mint" but i don't remember
moments later turning onto the West Side Hwy - blue F430 coupe

 

he was looking down at his cell phone the whole time.

 

I've been spotted... Woo-hoo!!!

 

What a day for spotting...! I saw a white Bricklin - A BRICKLIN! - on Nassau Blvd (I was driving a Legacy, someone tell me the connection)., and a red NSX turning off of Hempstead Turnpike onto some side road - both in West Hempstead. Then I saw a white Triumph TR4 and the same red NSX in Garden City on Stewart Avenue. About half an hour later I saw a metallic orange NSX on Old Country Road in Westbury. Tonight, I saw a 328 GTS, a red Challenge Stradale and a red 599 in Puma livery, in the city.

I still can't believe I saw a Bricklin!

 

Saw every car imaginable in the Hamptons (Sag Harbor/Southampton specifically) this weekend. Tons of Maseratis and Astons..

Been away from my PC for a couple of days and I almost forgot 288 GTO!!!! WOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO! My all time fav. Last Thurs. E/B Jericho Tpke. near Huntington about 6 PM

 

Just saw an orange gallardo spyder driving through times square w/ mass plates-- GDC I believe.

 

Black 612 headed south on Glen Cove road - about an hour ago - with yellow calipers; driver was on his cell phone.

 

I was in NYC from the 28th to the 10th. While I was there I saw a black RR Phantom near that big Bull statue in Manhattan, a Bentley CGT in Brooklyn. The next day going to Long Island I saw a black Maybach and a grey Viper SRT-10 and another Bentley later that day. The next day in Time Square there was a red 360 Spider parked outside a restraunt. I got a chance to take a picture with my cell phone. haha
The next day I was going to a friends house in Wilkes-Barre, Pen. and saw a wedding in Brooklyn with a white RR Phantom outside. We went to 6 Flags in NJ the next day and I saw another Bentley and a Red SRT-10 on the back of a truck and a yellow Gallardo Spyder on the way back to Wilkes-Barre.
I also saw a few M6 BMW's
The one thing I didnt get was it seemed like every other car in NY was a Mercedees, BMW, Audi or a Jaguar. My friend I was with who lives there said it wasnt a very "rich" part of town. But it seemed like everyone had a nice car haha.

Thats all I saw, but it was an awsome trip.

 

Friday: Silver Vanquish S, Bentley Brooklands (90's style I think)
Sunday: Corsa F430 Spider
Today: Bentley GTC

All of these cars spotted in Bedford/ Kisco.

Mind you, Bentleys are becoming more and more like Civics around here.

 

Ya just noticed that? I don't even flinch when I see one anymore.

 

I gotta say that Bentleys don't catch my attention anymore...of course they're expensive and luxurious cars, but they're getting "popular" in the Tri State area.

Because Bentley is just making too many of 'em. They gotta cut production a tad to preserve the resale and exclusivity of the cars.

Spotted tonight about 630 on Deer Park ave. in Deer Park a green LP640 roadster.

 

Yellow Gallardo Spyder on RT-172 in Mt. Kisco... with yellow seats. Looked schweet

 

today in Bronxville I saw a dark grey M3 E92 coupe with German plates (front and back). I wonder what the hell they were doing here? Maybe they got lost from the Gumball 3000 crew? lol

 

Oh I just remembered. I spotted a terrible atrocity today at Enzo's Auto Body in Mamaroneck. It was red, had side intake ducts like a mid-engined car, and as I got closer, it even had a yellow Ferrari badge on it. But it was SO NOT a Ferrari. It was some sort of 308 lookalike, and it looked terrible.



I wonder where Enzo is going to order parts from.

 

A new Bentley Brooklands in Great Neck...

And some sort of Lambo event at Teterboro... Green LP640, Black LP540 and plus a few more that i couldn't make out over the fence...
