Just got the pricing back this morning, from the email..... Quote: We are specialise in modifying original interior parts to genuine carbon fibre finishes. You need to send us your original parts for the conversion and it will takes about 7 days. The full package price for your Ferrari F355 is USD5,800 for 24pcs set. The are currently moving and he appoligised for the delay in reply. Not sure about sending my parts so Singapore to be covered.....
Thanks I agree !!! I guess thats it for me and any group buys guys!!! LOL Unless you ship your parts I don't think so. HA ! hopes were very high to.
We should get some parts from a parted out 355 on ebay and send them through on an exchange style program. $5800 seems a bit steep though, thoughts?
Yup that price is very high I got a gruppe m air box and the side engine dress up parts for 3600 it was a steal for me and a brand new carbon fiber hood for 500 I also have factory challenge carbon kevlar front and rear bumpers for 1500 I won't pay that price. I was hoping a group buy could cut the cost But I'm out.
5.2 Gruppe m Carbon fiber air box and the hood panels or side panels full carbon fiber from MVP Eurosports from Kevin he ran a deal one shot and I jumped on it and I got the complete set for $3600. It took 2 or 3 months then the side panels came with a dent and he had to get me new ones. But the price was good I pretty much got the side panels for free.
He sold the airbox to me for $2800 and the side panels for 800 since the airbox was real cheap I said OK I also take the side panels to the reg. price is around 3600 for the airbox alone so the deal was more then fare.
Kevin started a tread and ask everyone first person to pm him would get it HE COULD NOT POST THE PRICE I was the first when he GIVE the price i WAS SHOCKED I call him and BAM SOLD !
to each his own I suppose...but I don't see why anyone would do that to the 355 interior. A few bits here and there make decent accents...but window switches? I'd feel like I was getting into a plastic 355 imitation.
Well speaking of FXX if that floats your boat and you like that look well here you go. I we post the web site so I don't have a ton of pms it's Prestigebodykits.com $1,256 for the dash meter cover and right side only us USA guys they don't make them for us there $500. I am leaning heavily toward using our sponsor MA Carbon, and will certainly use them for center consoles etc , but has anyone used the company based in Japan? If you have please send me a PM and let me know how it went. IF MA Carbon can do the door inserts with the Ferrari name I will use them, but in any case drop me a line if you have done any of this aftermarket work to your 348 or 355. thanks, MBFerrari
Hi Guys, Interesting to see the various options out there. I actually like the robson shift panel console buttons. I'm not a fan of the switch covers but it does deal with the sticky problem. The Prestige piece has a huge amount of distortion. Other than Valence, we are the only ones who do a solid CF center console. At this point we do have a long wait (around 12 weeks) for the console parts. We will have a set on display this Friday at Concorso Italiano - along with a good number of our other parts. As for the price on the Robson set, its actually very very good for the number of parts - assuming it is of good quality. That's a big assumption. But I have not seen any of their parts in person. CF overlay is not easy to do right and quality is not cheap.
