This was at Lime Rock a few weeks ago. The CS was fantastic - fastest I've ever driven at LRP. About 3 secs faster than my GT3RS, but the track had just been resurfaced. I will get a chance to drive the GT3RS in a few weeks and will be able to compare them more accurately. I was pleased by the braking performance and the increased sensitivity to throttle inputs that I have to attribute to the mid-engine weight distribution. I was on street tires and the car still felt a bit squirrely. I am sure I could break 1 min in this car, but I need to have a lot more practice in it. The GT3RS feels a bit more planted. This may be a weight issue as well. I hope you enjoy the pics (a few other cars of interest there as well - hopefully the owners don't mind me posting)

Please tell us about the McLaren F1 that was present. How did it do on the track? Who was the driver? How it it sound? Did anyone pass it?

Sweet CS, glad you're enjoying it the way it's supposed to be driven. Love Coates' BB/LM.

Hi Peter. I couldn't find anything on your website. What am I missing? Is the McLaren driver a student of yours?

Ah, I get it now... your quote ;)

    Hi Guys,

Sadly, the F1 did not go on the track :( The enzo was out there, but was only "touring". The LM is awesome to see (and hear) out on the track. This was an unmuffled event so it was that much nicer to the ear.
