Looks like this was the house that was on the 1st Blade movie with Wesley Snipes. The pool area looks like it was from one of the scenes in that movie. I may be wrong though.
Hey guys I started an architecture blog for fun. http://architecturespot.blogspot.com/ Check out the houses.
The Torrey Pines home was used in the Iron Man Movie. The exterior shot of the home was filmed in Malibu. You should show the revolving windows where the gym facility is located. I love that home too. But I can't imagine living in it unless it was 1/8 of its size. I went to the showing of this home and it was indeed marvelous. The 2nd home with the Lamborghini Diablo, I believe the homeowner is throwing it in as part of the home purchase as an incentive. The woman that lives in that home has good taste.
Its only been on the listing for 4 days! It's an affordable architect at $1.7 mil in the Los Feliz, California area. I thought this is a pretty amazing looking home especially how much natural light enters the home. Or it could be just really great photography. You'd be the judge. I might check it out this Sunday. http://www.redfin.com/CA/LOS-ANGELES/2249-TALMADGE-St-90027/home/7135005 I copied this straight from RedFin... Steven Hills original 1980's design is extensively updated throughout by designer John Colter. With a strong nod to Richard Meier's work, white is the dominant color. The residence is now graced with terrazzo and hardwood floors, new windows and top quality bathroom tiles and fixtures. Comparisons to an art gallery are now obvious within this voluminous space with 12 foot ceilings in the public spaces and new glazing systems that bring in dramatic views. The 80's are back, and in a good way.
Fantastic house! Immediately after seeing the interior pictures I started day-dreaming about the art that I could hang in there. I wouldn't change a thing! (Except maybe for that yellow door, I would do a red instead)
Great blog Chase! That picture of the infinity pool in the La Jolla property is strikingly beautiful. If only they would reduce the price by $38,500,000 I'd definitely consider making an offer!! LOL
I'd like to see more of it, as well. It was beautiful in the movie. By the way, if you guys are interested, OBJEKT International is a good magazine featuring a lot of modern style homes and interiors. Current issue has some really great stuff.

I have been flying around on this thread for quite a while, so it's time to add to it! This site has all kinds of modern homes in many different states...with excellent background information. Beautiful homes...I hope this hasn't been posted already!! http://sandiego.tvoa.net/ RK
Try as I might, I can find absolutely no information about them other than the fact that it was filmed at two houses and their names: The Crawford House and the Sherman Estate.

I built this house for a client here in Marin back in 1990. The architect was Aaron Green from the Frank l Wright west coast office. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
