Who gives a crap if he won't test at Monza? When he says he's coming out of retirement then it's news. Otherwise... *yawn**

When was the last time the F1 World suffered a fatality during testing or had a major accident that sidelined a driver ?

IIRC, it was a direct quote from Schumacher during an interview. Fans and the media can all chose the cynical path and speculate on the reason or reasons behind his retirement. But in the end, excuses or not, should we not at least respect him enough to just accept his words for it ?

Correct De Angelis was the last one to die in a testing accident. That was 1986.

How long of a side line are we talking about?

Thanks Anthony. I always thought it was the team's excuse.

Well, since he said it himself, and being a biased Schumacher Sycophant (yes Ted, I freely admit it :D) I'll take his word for it and move on. :)

I have never seen a bigger cry baby, or Schumacher hater than this guy. Give it up Tifosi1, you will never get through to a person with so much hate and envy.....and Senna3xWC green is not your best color.......

Ahh, another troll rears his ugly head to spout inanities rather than contribute anything of substance to the discussion at hand.

My ignore list has just gotten a little bit bigger.

Let's say being forced to sit out for two weeks or more due to medical reasons suffered during testing or racing.

When was the last time someone had a major accident during the race that made them miss a race or two ? Was it Ralf (2004) ? I don't think Glock or Kubica (From last year) missed a race, did them ?

IIRC, the last fatality F1 had was in 94', which we all remembered too well :(
