Craig - The bank at 8:00 sound OK? Countachqv - PM UConn Husky. He's lives in Bristol. I'm pretty sure he's coming. Chris - We hope you can make it but we also understand. Here's to praying for the "open bar" Jess - any word from the other Ducati's? Lane
working on getting some bikes out there...may invite a Yamaha rider along... i know, i know...but my sinister plan is to surround him with Ferrari and Ducati beauties and make him cross over to the Italian side
I think I'll show up with my Austin Healey. May sound creepy as I don't know the Noble guy ... but any chance I can take a ride in it???
Exit 23 off 91 North. I think you take a left at the end of the ramp to head towards Rt 3, then make a right. Starbucks is on the right hand side about a half mile up the road.
Thanks. I'll be there. It the weather is like today it the best we can get. I'll try to drive up with Jay. My time is about 9am-10am. Will be my pleasure to meet you guys.
I'll try to make an appearance around 8 am. It's been a while since I've hung out with Ferrari folks. ~Dan
Lane, Thanks for letting me tag along today. The weather was great and so was the company. It was great meeting everyone and seeing your sweet rides. Can't wait for the next one and the cruise that will be part of it! Here are just a few of the pictures that I took today. Enjoy. Great cars. Craigs Noble was a thing of beauty. I saw the smile on Matts face after you took him for a ride. He's gonna need a chisel to get it off. And Matt's Austin Healey was just spectacular. I have not seen one in black before. Craig...your not tagging along, your a founding member. Great day. A few new faces joined us. We planned a cruise route to execute whenever. Should be fun. Next weekend might not be the best opportunity due to the holiday. Many will be otherwise busy with family responsibilities. (plus - I need time to get some real tires on my car) Todays sweet count: 5 Ferrari's 1 Noble 1 Austin Healey 1 Lamborgini 3 Ducati's 1 Yamaha 2 Subaru's
Hopefully count on another black 308 next Sunday - if the cam seals go in like they're supposed to!!!
That cruise sounds awesome, hopefully I will be able to catch up. It was nice meeting you all, great to see all kinds of cars I don't see every day. I'm Rob by the way, I had the blue Subaru.
Oh Crap... neglected Ricks Merc on the sweet chart. He's considering the purchase of "another" Fcar since his 308 is in Georgia. Kind of a "Connecticut car" I gather. Lets all kick up the tease until we shame him into a new 430 Scud or maybe Peter could set him up with something servicable. I could see him in that 330. Rob, Patrick, Frank - Welcome aboard. Hope to see you at future gatherings. I'm not as young as I used to be and Alzhiemers may be setting in. I have forgotten the names of some of the bike riders and the other Subie driver. Welcome and my apologies. I love the way this is working out so far. 3 Sundays of great weather does seem a little much to ask, and in a row yet. I realize its very early to ask but, Is anyone previously committed for next week? I'm supposed to go to Boston to see a school for my daughter but I'm sure she won't be up before 11 (tough life ehhh). Maybe I could sneek in for a few minutes. Not sure what I'll say to Wifey. Anyone got a smooth line?
Hey Matt, ya dropped something in the lot I know I know, it's only proper for a British sports car! Image Unavailable, Please Login
A friend of mine (Alex) has a nero 348 spider and has expressed interest for next week. We might have to find a larger parking lot (tehehe). Jess - Jay - can you get a hold of the other Ducati owners from last week? I'd love to see them regular like. I'm sure Mr. Lay would be happy with a few more registered users. Back on the Alzhiemers thing...It was Patrick in the Countach, right? Lane
Lane: "Honey, would you like some coffee before we leave this morning?" Wifey: "Sure, Lane. I'll have mine black." Lane: "Ok, honey, I'll be right back......"!!!! Wifey: "Lane?.......Lane?......Lane!!!!!!!"
