Guys, I will be looking for another GTB QV next spring so if you know anyone with an 84-85 yellow/tan GTB in avarage shape keep me in mind. Will consider yellow/blk Thanks! Kim

You may be looking for a good long time....I personally have never seen a yellow over tan 84-85 GTB QV....at least not in the US. There is a yellow over tan 77 GTB for sale at Forza. I looked for over 3 years for my 84 Red/black GTB QV....most that I found were Red/tan...and I only found 2.
    Will keep my eyes open.

Finding a yellow GTS is hard enough. There may not even be a yellow GTB in the US. Yellow was out of favor in the mid to late 80's. Good luck, but you might want to consider a lifelong dream that may never come true. There are two yellow 328 GTB's though one was repainted wreck.

ya know whats weird about that cars black tail light panel? 1970 to 1972 camaros with the 454 4 speed SS combo usually got that treatment to set them off from the other cars. its odd, but very different to see a 308 done that way.

she may want an injected open top car over a carb car, i know i dislike the "S" versions myself, so what i want may not waver much.

    happy hunting!

Guys Goodmorning! I emailed the gentleman with the 77 GTB on ebay, but I really want another QV. Not in a hurry and I'm still keeping my red GTB QV. Michael, I also looked at the blue 84 on cars.com But I really want a yellow one this time. I might even end up buying a GTSi but would have to be a pretty good deal to sway me away from another GTB! Thought I would put the word out early.

You would be disappointed with an S after having a B. Once you B, you never go back!

Michael thanks! Buy the way ,I looked at your blue GTB twice, its a very nice QV! I just seem to want the yellow this time, no real rhyme or reason, maybe its the "rude" factor! Ha!

Tony thanks for the link! Checked it out but I really want to stay with a QV. $49K seems quite a bit for an 80, 6500 miles is hard for me to believe is accurate mileage also. I personally would rather have a 60,000 mile QV thats been driven and maintained. Thanks for the info. though! Kim

    Kim,

There is one and only one yellow/tan 308 GTB QV in this country, I have the VIN but have not been able to contact its owner for some time. I will keep trying and let you know what I find.

this came from far as well, I live in the Netherlands, the car however was on offer in Japan. ( i took a gamble with it, i know buying it unseen but the (ebay)seller had good feedback from '02 on) It turned out to be a winner!

My fortune was that as this was indeed some gamble, not much was offered in the auction so price was (for Europeans as in the states F's are really low on avarage)really low.

sometimes you loose, sometimes you win. This was one of the last catagory!
