    I know this is the Ferrari Chat, but I need a good mechanic for my 993 Porsche Twin Turbo. It seems that it's almost easier to have a Ferrari fixed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    If you're willing to drive Hergesheimer in Lake Forest is one of the best, if not the best, independent Porsche shops in S. CA. They're Porsche only and a quick search on 6speed or Rennlist will show you how good Mark and Laura are.

    Although I haven't used them, GMG in Costa Mesa is also reportedly very good. They focus a bit more on aftermarket performance as opposed to maintenance but I hear they also know their way around P cars.
