Just curious to know, how are prices holding for the F355s in Europe. Here in the USA it seems like the prices are taking a dive!

Prices in Europe seem to be holding around EUR 55000 - 60000 start point whereas there is anecdotal evidence of lesser RHD cars in the UK dropping to under £ 35000 - there are almost no LHD cars left in the UK because of the profits to be made returning them to Europe - it is unclear how many are actually selling for all that one hears of cars remaining unsold (possibly poorer examples) one meets lots of people who have purchased recently, often at mid-to-top market

A nice yellow 355 GTS I know was sold last week for over 60 K EUROs. ;)
Car is clean and in very good condition, around 30.000 km, but without any options.
A few cars I know changed owners for the same amount of money.

Guess the european economy/psychology is different - so the behaviour of the people.
Nobody seems to be forced to sell the 355 right now.
Some of the classic guys still prefer the 355 lines over the newer 360, 430 etc ...
Only the really bad maintained dirty GTB will go for 45.000 €. No clue wether they're accident free or not. :D

Easyer to find a nice 355 in USA these days, but after shipping to Germany, taxes & customs, rebuilt to euro specs, the whole effort might get pointless.
(because it is still a USA car, which means less worth here. People know about ECUs giving only 375 hp, more emission related sensor issues, traditionally more weight, and so on)

New Zealand has dropped about $30k in 12 months, it's a good time to buy a 355 here ATM
