When an aftermarket company comes out with a different hood for it and then some one throws some HRE's on it that cars gonna be sick. I dont like the hood nor the chrome ghetto wheels but with some basic mods that car is gonna fly and look good as well.

From the outside I think the car looks great. The hood is okay but I'm not a fan of chrome wheels. A different color would be nice. I want to see a white one with black wheels, or any color with the gun metal wheels. Photo shop anyone?

I want to take a spray paint bottle and paint over the stupid hood 'window.' If they wanted attention they should have painted the HP rating across the hood.

    From the article:

"The only options on the $103,300 car are an awful set of chrome wheels and the 3ZR upgraded interior package, which succeeds in moving the interior from cheap and nasty into luxurious bass boat territory with more embroidered ZR1 and Corvette logos than my fragile mind could comprehend."

actually it was required... IIRC the hood had to be under a certain height via GM bean counters, but they had to squeeze the motor in and the "window" was the best way to do it or something...

im not a fan of the hood, but it could be worse i guess

Paint the wheels black, and for the hood...... well not sure how to fix that. I agree, a clear hood to show off a plastic cover is too tacky. If it was showing a finely machined supercharger, that might be different.

Its close enough to the supercharger, what you see there is actually the supercharger intercooler.

No, actually what you see is a cheap plastic cover.

Wait, you mean to tell me they didn't plaster the HP on top of the side badges like they do with the Z06? That's a surprise.

EDIT* Ah, now I see. As if the LS9 Supercharged under the hood window wasn't enough to tell it had a supercharger, they put SuperCharged above ZR1....

No, in the Corvette it's the LS9, in the CTS-V it's the LSA. LSA has an oil pan, LS9 has dry-sump.

I used to be a chevy guy myself. But today Chevy's other than the Corvette, are all made in Canada or Mexico and are not a U.S. Production car in my opinion. Considering that Toyota employs more U.S. Citizens than GM, Ford and Chrysler combined, I would rather drive any Toyota than any Chevy.

    The commercial says it all...

Man and his son driving a toyota pickup drive by a new house with a man and his son sitting outside looking around. Man in the toyota truck says, Son I built that house.. Man in front of the house says, Son I built that truck...

I wouldn't own any GM product even if you gave it to me, GM is nothing more than a large group of overpaid traitors. When you drive any chevy, other than the vette, you are buying a slave wage produced piece of junk.

    that is a 100% lie...

If you count how many people GM employs in america the same way toyota tells you they employ, GM has MANY MANY more people...

but go ahead and beleive toyotas are the best vehicles ever LOL especially the trucks! thats a good one

What do you mean? I believe you, just don't understand. Whats the difference between the plastic or the carbon fiber (or whatever the hood is made of.)?

    Wrong.

    Wrong.

I'm glad you believe commercials. Thanks for being a mindless drone.

    And you're wrong, again.

Oops, did I touch a nerve?

Gm is on the verge of going under because of one thing, crap cars.
