Mt problem is that when I'm doing mechanical work on my cars, someone always comes over and the next thing you know it's O-beer-thirty. Then try and remember which bolt you last tightened.
When we did my intake swap we had a lot of stuff left over, but then I think that goth planned it that way, um, right goth?
One small thing. While you have it out, replace the 2 small coolant return/bleeder hoses that go to the reservior. When you remove them you will probably find that they partially blocked or maybe even swollen shut.
+1 ...... yup ...... planned it from the get go ........ less parts = less weight right ?? Well that would be true, if it wasn't for 'replacements' that filled the 'extra' parts shoes......
Absolutely been my philosophy for past 40 years! On tight or not at all, you can always take it back off if need be later.

In a similar situation, I would hope to assume the best, but in my ignorance, my first thought at looking at the hole was "ice pick"... but, who the heck needs an ice pick these days anyway?! except maybe the mafia, in which case, I'd just smile and pay the bill to replace the belt.

Nice save! After seeing this I think I'll be updating my cam pulleys on the 348. The though of a broken belt is engough to keep me awake at night.
By the way hole punching is not such an uncommon occurence. I raced my 348 and changed belts annually. I think I posted on Fchat a belt I took off my car that was 1 year old and very few miles with a hole in it from a rock I guess. Part of the rubber was still there and the punched out hole flapped in the wind.
Took your advice! Added Hyperflows and new O2 sensors...Had to get a new A/C compressor before it was all over too. It was leaking
Question, do the Hyperflows make that much of a difference to the sound and performance of the car when used with tubi exhaust ,and approx how much$ to purchase and install?
