I get up this am and turn the main power off under the hood of my 1995 355
Turn it back on and wait 15 mins for all perameters to reset.....

Shut it off and have a quick shower. Turn car back on and car is dead. Go back under hood and turn the power cut off switch of and then back on again. Car fires up!

Jump in head down the road, about 1/4 of a mile the car dies. Try turning off and on the main power switch again and no luck. Call for flat bed............back home 1 hr later, we pen the door ti guide the car back into the garage and all the power is back on and she fires right up.

    Am I missing something her?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Chas

I would guess the switch itself is dirty inside. Battery cutoff switches in general fail quite often, but I can't speak specifically about the 355 switch.

Could be the main switch, but I would not discount the ignition switch too. I think you will need a bit more diagnosis of this one. Once you get it figured out, I would quit messing with the main power switch and simply use a battery tender in the future. It will save you much time with the whole reset procedure.

I would squirt electrical contact cleaner on it instead of WD40

I assume you checked that the ground strap connections are all securely tightened and in good condition?
