Ah Hah! Chuppa. You have discovered the clue to the plot. The Italians really used that machine for aerial delivery of sliced balogna which was fed into the front just as they made their pass over the receiving eatery. On the return pass they delivered chopped carrots, celery, and lettuce. But the piece de resistance was when they delivered the pizza sauce.....an that was no baloney.
Reminds me of a friend of mine who went into business and experimented crossing crocodiles with abaloneys so he could raise abadiles but his experiment failed. All he got was a crocabaloney.
I think an Italian expert was involved in both of these endeavors...I think his name was Speghetti.

Sounds yummy! I gotta get me on o' those Spaghetti Salad planes!

Brief aside...as I was posting this, I heard a beautiful racket outside and ran to see what it was. It was a TBM-3, flying right along the river behind my house. Ah...one of these days...

When it comes to corporate jets, it's hard to beat this thing for ugly. In fact, I know a few people who contend that it really doesn't fly - the earth just rejects it.

    From the website:
Imagine the suprise.... having just been strafed, the ground forces attempt to fire off some rounds to knock down the invader after it passed by.
Here's when the Tail gunner.... ( on a small fighter? ) lets loose with his four machine guns.... Yipes!!!

Carrie, I knew a guy who flew these for the company back in the mid seventies when he was their salesman. He said that it was a flying crocadile , a dangerous and vicious airplane when you lost your command of it. It was as bad as it looked. Good choice I think.
