Is there like a place I can place a bet now that Russ' T-28 wins like a billion awards in the next 5 years, like.

I want to be able to retire soon!

The symetry and orderliness of a clean radial engine is a sight to behold. I remember seeing so many of them with layers of carbonized oil caked on them and streaks of grease and carbon streaming back on the cowl and nacelles from being run at over boost for too long and yet, the damn things ran smoothly and carried on their duties without too much complaint. The P& W R-1830 and the CW R-1820 won the war in Europe for us. Those and the R-2800 are masterpieces. They are all great engines and that thing in Russ's airplane is a beauty.
