last time checked they actually had some of the left over UT mclaren 1:18 models (all race cars tho). I was going to buy them all, but i thought i'd rather quality than quantity. they had some very rare 1:43 minichamps. all $200+ range, 1:12 F40 for $550, 1:12 Mclaren $850. a mate of mine just bought a $1100 glass display case, 196cms high, serious collection, and top end models, and he thinks autoart is still cheap built ...
i think from memory they had a few 250tr's, 250swb i think, and some other vintage models you dont see to often. they werent overly expensive (under $100) but just not common
autoart isnt the best but its not bad for the price ...i buy a alot from a place called bear & car collectables in brisbane ,the guy is old school no no online stuff he just gets hard to find stuff ,hes gettin my reventon and ive got a http://www.mogosmojodiecastmodels.com.au/prod14.htm put away for me ,just got to find the right car to match it to ....hes got a really good range of classic and cmc
My mate is very into racing models, a huge collection of Biantes, every racing UT Mclaren (no road cars), he bought a pair of Diablo SVR that he got from Japan (hand built), lots of CMCs, Kyosho 575GT, MC12 (met black), 3 BBR Enzos. Lots of other fun things from Japan and Hongkong, and a lot of 1:43 minichamps. the next lot he has is every single Gundam Charactor and G1 Transformers from 20 years ago !! in comparison my collection is very small, collect 1:18 only, nothing big, and I have recently sold most of the burragos, maistos "toys" on ebay left only the the UT Mclarens, almost every v12 model of the Lamborghini range, 288, F40 (kyosho), F50, BBR Enzo, F50GT, and a 456 GT are the only ferraris i have. My aim would be have every Miura, Countach, Diablo and Murcielago in my collection; find a F40LM, and i have a few pretty special models in the works atm. will have some more photos of my collection once they comes in
We didn't get to a price. He wasn't going to have another car for sale until a year or more after I last spoke to him and that was going to be a P3 Alfa-Romeo which held less interest for me at the time. He'd made a pretty nice Shark-nose too. Saw quite a few pics but only the one model that one time at my brother's house. The owner was another Boeing driver and was taking it home to the US the following day. Image Unavailable, Please Login
