When I looked into these, I found out they were resonator pipes to b put in place of the catalysts. They have no core, but look like a perforated stright pipe, with padding in the "bulgy" part...

There is a catalytic converter website, http://www.discountconverter.com/index.cfm, that lists oem, direct fit, replacement cats for the 348 at around $350 each. Their website pitch is that there is no such thing as a hyper flow cat. However, there seems to be a lot of improvement experienced from those that have installed the Ricambi product.

I also saw a similar pair of alleged high flow cats about a month ago on ebay from a place in Pa. for $700 a pair. The ones in Pa. had the narrow can similar to the ones in this thread. It just seems to me that for a 3.4 L engine with dual cans that someone in the aftrermarket world must be able to fabricate a more efficient cat from all the universal fit models that are out there for less than $1,200.

Well guys, I bought them so when I get them I'll take some better photos and we can discuss. It seems to go to be true to me.

Yes, I bought them and they are fantastic for the price. Little bit of exhaust or gas smell if you run the car in the garage too long and your wife might not like the smell, but they sound awesome.

I have a clip on Youtube with Tubi exhaust and Ebay cat pipes. It's in my garage which is bad, but you get the idea.

I still need to add a few clips of the car going through buildings downtown or through a tunnel, I swear it sounds like an F1 race car coming. I've literally scared the crap out of a few people unintentionally and I wasn't even going that fast.

Look at my post http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=212160. This week I made a set of 100 cel metallic core cats for my Mondial t at the price of $450 for both including welding labor. I used magnaflow cats and with a 100 cel structure, these will outflow hyperflow's 200 cel ones. They are ODB compliant, though not for California use. I don't care as I live in the UK.
