ff could do a disesel ppi.

 

diesel, petrol, hybrid, electric, hydrogen etc etc etc.......he could PPI all of them to the same standard, i'm sure.

didn't he invent the internal combustion engine?

 

i thought he owned Micro soft.

I had a look at it last week.

Nice straight car.

I did not drive it.

Thought it was fairly priced but Dino's seem to be taking a hit at the moment.

 

Minor aberration. they will hit $500k soon

Surprising but ... given there are not many around at the moment .

 

just get the PPI done in Melb ... they have a guy with a guide dog who slips over on oil leaks

 

Uk car. doesn't look like its got tools = $4k, jack =$2k, pouch with books =$6k, so price probably about right

What's the story on console instruments on the 308s?
Browsing the carpoint 308 adds and noticed some cars have a pair of instruments in front of the gear-change gate in a sort of upturned buttress.

 

GTBi/Si and QV are the only ones with console gauges, clock and oil temp ... so basically the 84 QV and the immediate breatheless GTB/S injected models

 

Carby 308's have those guages on the dash, below and outboard of the main instrument panel. tm knowitallIan

Because you're travelling so much slower in injected 308's, you've got plenty of time to take your eyes off the road and look at the floor to check the oil temp.

Thank you for responding but still not clear to me.
Currently on carpoint I see an '81 GTSi with the console gauges and I see an '81 GTSi without them.
That's why I was wondering if it was more than just a model change like most of the changes. Perhaps the market it was for, euro, aus, etc?

 

Probably not original, maybe the car is a cut & shut with a carby dash?
