Perhaps I should paint my 308 white and put a little livery on it. $1.1 mill for a 308. History or not they are dreaming. RB must be the broker. http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/find/4100_results.asp?sorderby=tblManufacturers%2EsName+ASC%2C+tblModels%2EsModel+ASC%2C+bOfficial+DESC%2C+tblCars%2EsType+&action=simple%5Fsearch&coopid=0&lmanufacturer=10042&lcurrency=20&next=4100%5Fresults%2Easp&whatbutton.x=0&dealerid=0&bsubmit=true&lmodelflag=12227&bclicked=true&bshowstock=Falsch&page=0&lCarID=1763751 I believe yet again the ADR rules didn't allow that. I prefer the gauges there. You can't see them on the bottom right. I'd have to bring all my books out to confirm what years they were available with that layout. Thank god I have a carby car.......
Thanks, I have the Bluemel book but its currently at another house, so couldn't look it up. The other book I'd heard of but not seen. Looks like one more for my shelf. Not sure what year Horse is. I asked once but she was very coy about it. However I've seen an original '85 QV with them on the dash too. Its owner said they'd always been like that. There appears to be at least some QV's sans console dials.
ok, mine's an '84 Euro QV and Horse is an '85 Aussie delivered ... never realised until now (because I'm so observant ) that the gauges on my console are missing on Horse but then I'm not really interested in the engine temp or time , actually because mine has an electronic cut-out at 7700 I don't need to look at any of the gauges when you're travelling as quick as my car you can't afford to look at them
Are you trying to turn blackjagblackdog&ricerchat into FerrariChat? What are you thinking?????????????
Your're welcome M. I was surprised at that price. I go to that website a bit to keep an eye on F40 prices, (dreaming again. lol). That HK car with just under 3000k's on it has been there for some time. Would require some work but you would assume it hasn't been thrashed.
Talk about inflation. Wasn't the last amount $300k. Now you let the secret out on how I could afford an F40.
What kind of Ferrari is that, Mister? A fast one, son! Might be on the right track with the ADR idea, Brett. It'd explain the years I'm seeing.
Because they're Group 4 cars and eligible for historic events in Europe. There is a very strong historic rally scene, with reruns of famous events (Monte, San Remo, Liege, etc) as well as serious stuff. A Michelotto 308 will get you an entry to anything.
It's cream, and fast? see first pic. What do you know that I don't? (silly me, everything, of course! ) She?? She?? Is there something else I don't know? Horse's history is very easy, one family ownership, 11/85 Aus delivered, 36,000 k's. even I can remember this, and I'm not "coy" about anything. I've burnt all my books since I met KnowitallIan. I'm very concerned that this thread has degenerated into a conversation about Ferraris, rather than phones, fathers and dinner menus.
