Does anyone have any pics of a 308GT4 in white? Thinking of doing mine that colour (from red).
Take a look at Ferrariads.com. There is a nearly white boxerpaint gt4 fore sale. Not exactly what you are looing fore, but it will give you a cloue.
John My '74 Series 1 was originally white but was resprayed red by a previous owner 8 years ago. This is an old photo from the file that came with the car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Eurospares recently bought a perfectly usable white one to break for spares which is kinda sad. I personally think these cars look good in white unlike the GTB/S. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I agree - I think the shape looks great in white and soo '70's. Thanks for the pics. I think I'm going to go for it.
That is indeed a shame, as that early euro bumpered car would be highly prized among the GT4 fans here....still has unmoleted Dino badge up front......and looks to be quite clean, really......
Yes, It is shame, I assume it's a series 1 car. I saw it on ebay a couple of times. Was an Irish car. here's the Eurospares link: http://www.eurospares.co.uk/breaking2.asp?page=80
You are right! Euro, series I, Dino Badges...these will be the first GT4s to become valuable [because there will be very few left]. (eurospares is helping to ensure that).
My car was originally silver but resprayed white by the PO. I may be biased because it is my car, but I really like the pinstripe on mine. It helps show off the curve and air intake behind the rear window, I think. The disadvantage(?) is that white is nearly invisible. No one sees white Ferraris. Sometimes that is OK, though. I think Avorio Safari with Boxer paint looks great! I almost bought one, had a PPi done, but it had too many issues. I settled on one that is Rosso Chiaro. My GTC/4 is Azzuro Hyperion - I think the GT4 would look great in that color as well. Marcello
Wow, on their site it looks like they have a habit of buying perfectly good GT4s and breaking them for parts. That's a shame. OTOH, I sent an inquiry about a few parts, so I guess I need to look in the mirror when I wag my finger.
