That is a nice video. There were a few different cars in there since they showed a hood from an M and the final car was a non M. Makes me want to go drive it today.
Fun stuff... Anyone know whether a similar 'making of' vid exists for the 550/575? Better yet, I'd love to find the original vid of when Top Gear first test drove the 550. Word is Jeremy Clarkson called it 'astonishing' at the time. I have a friend I am persuading to make the jump to 550 ownership and this might help tip the balance...especially with his missus. ketel
There is a Jeremy Clarkson video called head to head i think??. Anyway i have it in my collection. Its were they test alot of the best cars at the time including the F355, 911 and the 550 ect. The 550 was voted the best handling car.....ever
Indeed! I have the original 456 video from Top Gear on video. Its a fantastic review. Now all i need to do is figure out how to take it from video into a digital format!
Adnaan, have you go the details of the episode? maybe it is out there already? although having done countless searches I am not sure. but if you have a Graphics Card with Video in then you should be able to capture it from your Video. Other than that have you got the Details on the Box I think maybe I can order it from the BBC direct. Other than that - Eid is coming up so it will make a nice present much appreciated. kindest regards Aamir
Cheeky bugger! It wasnt aired on TV as far as I know. I've got it on a Top Gear Video that I bought in the shops. I've done searches for it but I dont think its on the web. I could do a world wide exclusive on my website!
Yes, I am familiar with that vid. I believe it's called Top Handling Cars, or something like that. If anyone has the actual Top Gear test drive video of the 550 from way back when, (or knows where I can locate or buy it online) that would be appreciated. The Top Gear site doesn't even have it any longer. ketel
Broadband ISP's will be quaking in their boots awaiting the massive traffic and bandwidth usage no doubt , can't wait to see it.
+1 I always mention that video [yesterday was the latest] to someone wanting to know more about my car.
