After pulling the rad/condensor I am considering replacing the condensor. Seems I have a kink on the lower tube (no leak) so I was wondering if anyone has found a replacement from one of the hot rod aftermarket suppliers. I've seen a few on the web that are close to the OEM size but with fittings that will need to have adapter hoses. No big deal but if I do consider it I wanted to check to see if anyone has gone through the process. There was no info in the search section so I thought maybe someone has done this. By the way the cost for a 12"x21" condensor runs around $75-100 . Just asking.

A question about A/C condenser size. If you go to a larger size condenser will it improve the A/C cooling ability of the 308?

If a larger condenser will help then get the biggest one.

A bigger condenser will drop the evaporator temperature.Realistically any new condenser will improve airflow across it as the old one will probably be clogged up after 30 odd years.Better condenser fans will also drop condensing temperatures down as well at idle
