Some wheels had Corse, some simply said Speedline. Depends (I think....) on whether they are original race wheels (speedline only) or road wheels (corse).

I might be all wet... Dave Helms would probably know. :)

Had no idea how light these wheels are--they feel like about half the weight of stock ones....

I have a guy with a sticker/vinyl cutter. He is going to make up some SPEEDLINE stickers for me---A few others asked also. Anyone that wants a few, let me know. Can't imagine he will charge that much for them.

Were the wheels used in the Challenge series. Looks like some cosmetic wear and tire on it. Will look cool in black. :)

As an aside question to the brotherhood, How can we know if used wheels that we are buying are structurally sound? Are there any simple tests that can be performed?

Cool Robbie! Don't mean to hijack your thread, but I bought a set also from a local 348 friend who used to track his 348 quite a bit. He sold them to me with a set of Hoosier slicks on them. He says I will be amazed at how the lighter-weight wheels transforms the handling and turn-in! When I get my 348 back on the road, I'm going to drive some more with stock wheels before swapping them to really see the difference.

I understand they are magnesium... I guess some people have had these powder coated, but I've been a little leery of having them heated in the oven. Could they possibly warp or worse? Anyone with experience powder coating mag wheels? Thanks. PS - sorry for the dirty wheel pic :)

Just spent 2 hours at a guy's shop going over the powdercoating process and all kinds of tidbits of info. He has over 250 differents colors of black alone to choose from. No problem coating them as long as the coater knows they are magnesium and takes the necessary steps to ensure a good product return

That is what I said--he told me to bring the car over and sit down in the sun with the color chips and go thru them to see which color I like best. He had a customer last month spend 9 hours looking at colors before picking something out. He also has like 100 different textures--Unbelievable what some of the stuff looks like...

Spnet 2 hours at the powdercoater today and settled on a color ---- it is very unusual and not something you see everyday....it will be a textured finish, very cool....
