It doesn't seem to actually touch anything other than the rim. What's the purpose?

    Yeah, that's the one.

Can't see how it does anything, but ok. I was wondering because some of my 355 wheels came with them and some didn't. I just gathered the ones I had and put them on the 4 fronts.

Is it going to stay on at speed? The spacer isn't quite large enough to cover that ring. I suppose nobody's had any problems with the rubber moving?

Thanks for the offer Adam!! :D:D

If I had 355 wheels I would jump on it, but I dont. :p:p

I would buy them, throw them on the shelf and by the time I get around to using them, they would be rock hard with age and good for nothing!! :p:p

    Thanks again though mate. ;);)

It does actually serve a purpose. As Pap mentioned, it was put on there to seal out water from the interface between the wheel and the rotor interface to prevent corrosion of the magnesium wheel.

Hill Engineering has made 355 specific wheels spacers that are larger in diameter to meet the seal on the wheel and maintain its design function.

Nope :)!!! I have Hill 15mm '355 only' spacers in the rear ..... though in retrospect 11mm would probably be better.....
