    Hi Marcel,

Sure, I have some numbers: White S1: 7524, Silver early S3: 9310, White late S3: 9794, blue S2: 7828, brown S2: ????. Ok, let's put numbers on our photos like on this one. What are you numbers in Germany, I see 3 different Espadas here.

I was wondering if we could collect a photo survey of the various side mirror styles used on the Espada from owners that have used them.

I have the dual front fender mounted Sebring ones which do look interesting but are almost totally without function.

So I'm looking for any personal experiences from owners about which ones really work and hopefully look nice as well.

    Thanks.

    Hi Espada Philippe ;-)

    Thanks for the info.
I'm afraid I can't help you with the numbers on the German Espada's.
I was there only for a very quick visit, made some pictures, and went back home again.
Very little time to talk to owners about their nice car's. Better luck next time.
I'm sure Kevin will be able to identify at least two of them..Kevin?

    Ciao!
    Marcel

I have to pass this time. I checked my records but doesn't find the VIN's. The silver and dark green car seems to have USA roots as they are equipped with the USA blinkers.

My SI Espada has newer aftermarket mirrors on the doors and I plan to replace them. Interestingly, I have the Sebring mirrors like yours on both my '69 Mangusta and '65 GT40 and they work fine, with no blind spot whatever. They are, however, mounted much closer to the base of the windshield.

Hmmm, maybe that's the problem. Another thing is that mine are from 1971 so they are not exactly like the ones offered today. I have some current production versions in black so I could try those.
Adjustment is pretty hard to do with them that far out. The view size is pretty much useless. The big rectangular electric Vitaloni's really work great but are just ugly as can be IMHO.

    Thanks Daryl.

I know, I was just after an explanation of what the VIP interior is ...

Sorry if I was not clear, but I couldn't really tell from the other pics in this thread.

    Regards, John

    Hi Bob,

Here is what I have on my car: a Sacura Sprint (Belgium) on driver's side, I believe probably installed by the dealer. Original, looks nice and very usable. Even if there not so usable, keep yours as they are, they make a great shape for your car.

They're not Espada wheels. A closeup of one might help to figure out what's going on with this car. Possibly they're simulated knock-offs? I know, that sounds redundant but it's not.

For me they look like S2/S3 wheels which got a polished cover on the center.

Yes I thought of that except then how did the spinners get on there?
The pictures aren't good enough but those do look like Espada spinners.

    Interesting in any event.

Thanks for pointing that out. I think this picture makes it look like wheel covers and fake spinners. I'm not sure how that's done though.
