I'm not sure you should abandon this guy, despite your timing problems so far. There is no guarantee you would not get the same delays with another producer, plus you would unnecessarliy induce a new learning curve regarding production and assembly, new materials sourcing questions, etc. It's your call, of course, but with the right assurances, you might want to stick with this guy. Oh, and I'm a buyer too!
At this point, I would consider it a minor miracle if ANYTHING related to this showed up on my doorstep from the UPS man. Call me skeptical.
