In 1/43rd just about everyone made model kits of the car. The best one I think came from Lemans Miniatures. Avoid the Silverline 333SP. Provence Moulage and BBR also made nice kits of the car in 1/43rd. Check on ebay. TT
New decals for the Hasegawa 250TR in 1/24th scale from Studio 27: Renaissance also makes a nice transkit and several decals for this 250TR kit. Image Unavailable, Please Login
You should take Toms advice. I just sold a 43rd BBR on ebay for $45 auction number 310078782585. They are out there.
Be careful that the Renaissance PE parts do not fit the Hasegawa 250 TR... these PE parts were made for the Renaissance TR and so some major parts do not fit the hasegawa kit, The studio 27 parts or Hobby Design fill fit.

Ok, after seeing Vettels AMAZING first pole! I was wondering do they have any Vettel STR Models in 1/43 or 1/24???
Check out the latest July 2008 issue of Model Cars Magazine from the USA. It has a full color write up on the 2008 Ferrari Expo model contest and a complete review of Alex Kustov's 1/24th Hiro 1964 GTO model. You will not want to miss this issue. You also, after seeing it will not want to miss the Ferrari Expo 2009 next April!!! I hope Alex brings his 250 GTO up for the show next year. He will have some very good competition and company to show it with(you can just show your models). We allow sportscars and roadrace/F1/Indy models to be entered in the Ferrari Expo model contest. Here's a 1:20 version of the STR3 that Vettel was driving. http://www.hiroboy.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=2532
Here are a couple of new kits from Hiro in 1/24th scale. They have both been done by other companies. ESCI did a very nice Lancia Beta Turbo Giro D'Italia with the correct body. Scale Designs did a T33/3 1971, also with a correct body and Cartograf decals. How about doing the long awaited 330LMB, 250TDF, Dino 206 ect instead of duplicating. With Modelers JP.announcing it is going out of business due to slow sales I would hope they would hurry up and do these much asked for cars instead of duplicating. This is the reason I got out of the Business. Hiro will probably do a Dino 166P soon. The Japanese love to duplicate and copy others!! Just look at the old design Acura TL and compare it to the 1997 Alfa 156. What came first, the chicken or the egg. I am hoping the Japanese car makers will copy the BAT11 Now that would be funny. Dont mean to offend anyone, but the facts speak for themselves. Look at their history. Enough complaining. Back to NEW MODELS. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
