22 I used to maintain equipment used in adjusting CRT monitors. Scary eh??? :)

We had a guy working 2-3 years at 'tri-color' inspection in the CRT plant. QC to make sure the red, blue, & green phosphor stripes were good, and there was minimal cross-contamination. (colored phosphors were coated onto panel, excess washed off. Residual on other stripe locations was the cross contamination).

One day they found major CC issues near the end of the production line (4 processes, and thousands of crts between inspection stations (we ran 24/7)) Millions lost, and turns out the inspector was color blind!!

This looks like fun, but my old monitor is teh suck at work (bright flourescent lighting over my right shoulder). I'll try when I get home and see how blind I've become in recent years.

    Curly: I can't see! I can't see!
    Moe: Why not?
    Curly: I'm not lookin'!

    Yes.

Anyone older is an old fogie.

Anyone younger is a know-nothing young whippersnapper.

Didn't you learn that yet? :)

    Really interesting.

I scored a 0, but the point I find intersesting is the scores that others are getting.

Why do I find it interesting, because I have a phoenix yellow M3 and every single bit of repair work that I have ever had done to it I can clearly see the repair and the fact that nobody else could ever see it was driving me nuts.

People really do see colours differently!

PS first post here, lurking for ages doing my research for the big day when I get my first Ferrari.
