    Gentlemen,
Don't get too excited about depreciating 599s selling for under $300K. Carugati, the Swiss dealer, has two listed for about $307K now.
It's only a matter of time before they follow the 575 and 550.

A scammer is being 'outed.' It's fun. Cars will continue to depreciate in price, that just life. In this economy, it will happen fast.

    Guess who's back...................

So sorry I am replying so late. I have been out of the office for two days with a sick child and am catching up on my work now. If you still are interested in the car, I can give you the first chance at it.

As I mentioned previously, we are working with CTS Capital, a company that we are in no way affiliated with, nor connected in any way, but have come to trust after proving reliable in a number of transactions along the course of I think 2 years now.
Again, we can probably have the owner agree to depositing half in escrow, with the balance due after inspection, let me know what works for you. We are offering enclosed trailer insured shipping free for the car, and can deliver it to your home or business address, per your instructions.

Instead of addressing your questions, he acts like he is distracted, then comes back on point, which is "wire money."

Tell him that an attorney, bank or title company is much more trustworthy than an internet company and ask him why those groups (who all have huge malpractice insurance coverage) are not good enough.

Maybe ask him where he is.

I tell you, this is an easy spot.

    Keep torturing him.

Please let me know if you are still interested in the car. Thank you

    Derek

    Derek,

I am still very interested in the car. I would like to know what the particulars for the wire transfer are. I am ready to pull the trigger once I have some more comfort level with them. I can't seem to find much info on CTS Capital. What can you tell me about them that I can't see on the web?

    Darth,

Can you turn this guy over to the authorities? You have a clear paper trail and maybe he can be apprehended or stopped ........ particularly if the scammer is in the US.

Unless he actually goes through the transaction and takes the money he is essentially role-playing. Luckily for us Darth is a good enough fellow to string him out for our entertainment.

So sorry to have gone AWOL again, but the condition of my child took a turn for the worse so I was left with no option. I have just arrived back in town, and hopefully will continue my normal schedule tomorrow. Please accept my deepest apologies. Regarding this sale, I will give you a call first thing tomorrow so we can talk about it in detail.

    Sincerely,
    Derek

Well, Derek, I never heard from you. We really need to talk about this. I missed a big car rally and I don't want to miss the next one!
