The problem with doing is that is more of a drivers race and not a cars race.. Thats why we didnt use launch.. The GTR will kill the porsche on a launch (as the owner of both cars). No need for me to test something that i know what the outcome will be.

Whatever bro, you have like 5 posts on this forum and they're all about you trying to hype your GT-R tune package so I'm calling the race bogus and nothing more then a marketing ploy. Others might even call it spam.... say what you will, if the GTR will pull that hard at speed it shouldn't be a problem at a real track and for that matter if it launchs so well it should be even better at a track.

Say what you want, but the truth is that street racing, not only illigel and stupid, just doesn't mean anything to anyone especially someone trying to make money off a tune they claim in a "street race" can kill the Porsche....

    funny.

So... you are buying a V-Spec? Do you have your deposit in? If so, at which dealer?

You called me a hater.... really? I have a GT-R on order from Kelly Nissan. I paid sticker for the car. $4400 IS a ridiculous price for an exhaust an ECU. I've had Vipers and ZR-1's too - and they are also expensive to mod, but it's got nothing to do with how much RWHP you get, it's all about volume. There are a lot of GT-R's coming so $4400 for an exhaust and tuning the ECU is nothign short of a gouge. Even Viper headers can be had for $1200 and Chevy V8 headers can be had for around half that.

Not true at all.... the 1/4 track is all about the car.

If you were to post before and after 1/4 times, I could look at the MPH and get a good idea how much power was gained, even if you blew the launch or spun the tires. If you are trying to sell me on a power upgrade - SHOW ME THE POWER! Either a before and after dyno, or (MUCH better) before and after 1/4 times. You can fudge dyno numbers, but it's impossible to fudge (upwards) 1/4 MPH numbers.

Take them to the track... everything else is just unfounded, unsubstantiated, unprovable claims on the internet.
