So, should he take up fishing or foot-fetishism in his spare time? :D

Kubica and Massa would smoke the field. Alonso and Kubica may work too, not so sure about Alonso and Massa.
Ferrari should stick with passionate and dedicated drivers, and leave the iconoclasts and mediagenic characters to McLaren. Lewis and Kimi would be great teammates.

As I have said before, put the orange camera pod on Massa's car and give Kimi the yellow-green one. Its time that he paid publicly for his poor performance and was sent a message as to what his role is.

    :D Very funy post!

:D Exactly, because Kimi is known for always being such a show-off and always trying to show everyone how good is...

Kimi doesn't have to show anyone how good he is. His years of incredible performances have already shown that. ;)

I guess for you it's impossible to think that Kimi's reason for his consistancy at setting the fastest lap of the race, usually at the end of the race, is exactly the reason he has been saying all year long...and not due to this opinion of some "fan" who thinks it's only due to Kimi trying to show-off...

I'm not sure what race you were watching but the race I watched was one that was showed Kimi going from near the back of the grid all the way up to a near podium position (on a track that was described as "near impossible" to pass on) and was pushing the limits of his car as hard as he could to HELP secure as many points FOR THE TEAM as possible because he was the only member of the team who was in a position to score any points.

    Very classy response...

To be the best at anything you have to have talent, work ethic, and desire. Kimi surely has the talent but the rest seem less apparent.

I think Kimi is done. It would not surprise me to hear something dramatic as the end of this season.

We all know that no matter how much we want Kimi to be booted out (which i don't btw) it won't happen, he will at least see out his contract and then Ferrari will see what they want to do next, if it's bring someone else in or keep Kimi. But i think that he we should just see what happens next year alot of things change with the car next year and that might suit Kimi more.

We all know he's REALLY quick and he CAN deliver, you have to remember he's only been at Ferrari 2 seasons at the end of this year. It' took Massa a while... last year everyone was saying the exact same things about Massa as they are about Kimi this year and now everyone is prasing Massa.

Kimi is only good every other year. Look at 2004/2006/2008 compared to 2003/2005/2007!

So he should do GREAT next year! Haha.

I think everyone will be glad to know that Kimi has set the record for most fastest laps in a season with 10 thus far. Its obvious he has the speed, just where does it go?

Still 20 down with 3 to go, is much better than 17 down with 2 to go. Don't lose hope.

The only problem with that is, Massa is only 7 behind and it is obvious that Ferrari will throw their support behind Massa, as they did the same with Kimi last year when Massa was behind.

Is it possible that Kimi can't turn fastest laps early in the race because traction control isn't riding with him any more?

You're right...That makes so much sense! It's obvious that Ferrari have a secret "traction control switch" that they turn on for Kimi towards the end of the race... :D :D

However, Kimi was setting the fastest lap of the race towards the beginning of the last race......oops, there goes your theory. Darn, and it was such a great theory too...

His fastest laps show when the tires are ideally warmed up. Unfortunately for most of the season they've been struggling with this. His fastest lap in the Singapore Grand Prix was near the beginning I believe. Also, he hasn't set the record for fastest laps yet; he's tied with himself (in 03 I think) and Schumacher (in 04). He's also tied with the most consecutive fastest laps in a season with 6, and 2nd in consecutive laps over 2 seasons. (Most being 7)

I'm still hoping something can be done with Vettel's contract, although not likely.

Either he sucks or not, with three races left, he needs to finish in front of LH in all the races. unless we get lucky and LH has an engine breakdown.

I'm sick of the "iceman" crap. Work with the team, give interviews, drive the car passionately, and smile once in a while. Or leave.

He should be embarrassed by his performance, especially in comparison to his rising-star teammate. Go Massa!

I'm holding back so much anger and frustration with this thread right now that I'm twitching. I've completely had it with everyone calling for this guy to quit. A year ago half of all Massa supporters in this forum were calling for Ferrari to replace him saying that he sucked as well! Kimi is a great driver, has everyone forgotton his strong start to the season, nevermind his previous season!?? Everyone hits a slump, the whole team is hurting right now, not just Kimi. The damn pit crew can't even hit a button to operate a light correctly. He'll be back, maybe not this season, but I'm confident that next season every single person who's riding up his a$$ will be singing his praises. I'm going running, these threads really piss me off...

    FORZA KIMI
    FORZA MASSA
    FORZA FERRARI
