I dont even have a valance, the GT4 Ansa wont allow it when on a GTB unless I modify it. And I didnt want to do that.

Nice work Michael, it looks really good. I assume it sounds even better?

I have a pattern and will be making "replica" early style shrouds for North American valences...as soon as my sheet metal worker lady calms down an little bit! LOL!

They will be identical to the OEM but you can cut the ovals in wherever you need them to fall......ANSA does vary a little from the OEM I think that's how they all ended up in dumpsters....;)

I don't think this euro car with the valence "cut outs" had a muffler shroud???

euro cars do not have the shroud, and my car had the dual Ansa sport exhaust installed as an option, which is why is has the 2 cut outs, as opposed to a single cut out for a single tip.

I have the same Magnaflow muffler on my 308 GT4. Sounds great, especially in a tunnel.

But that bracket weld shown in your last photo is going to fail. Mine did, and looking at it from an engineering perspective, this failure was predictable. Its actually the pipe will crack due to fatigue failure and the bracket will be loose. You should have had a full circumference doubler welded to the pipe before welding on the bracket.
