Hey guys, I just got back from the PPI, everything worked out fine. The PPI made me want to buy the car even more! The mechanic personally recomended me to buy this car, I don't remember all the details, but he said that if you're looking for a 355 this is certainly a good one considering its condition and how its the last year. He told me that 94s, 95s and 96s were bad years, and in 97 they corrected some sort of problem so I am happy I got a 99 :-D! He said that everything is the way it should be and the previous owner must have babied it. I also told him how I was choosing between a 360 and a 355 and said he thinks in the long run the 355 will be more of a collectors car. I was happy to here this from a Ferrari mechanic! SO, I paid for the car! Some cash and then just wired over the rest from my bank account. It is now sitting in my driveway! At my house there is a garage connected to the house where I keep my Yukon and S550, and then I am proud to say I have a another seperate two car garage that I built my self last year before buying my 997 Turbo, now my new 355 will go next to the 997. Right now the seperate garage is kind of plain, but new so I am planning to spruce it up a little now that I have my 355. I am going to try to get black and white tile floor, anyone got recomendations on what kind of material to use? I am also going to try to get a big Porsche emblem on the floor for the 997 and a big Ferrari emblem on the 355s spot anyone know where to get these? It will probably be a while till I'm back on here because I'm just going to be driving my new 355, I just wanted to tell you guys how everything went with the PPI. I'll still check in though . Also, I am considering servicing my 355 myself, is it possible, I know there are many threads on this, I'll search it. Thanks for all your help, John
Of the prior posts in the thread? Hate to ask this of you, but since it's in your driveway anyway, can you please post a picture of the rear of the car with a handwritten "Hello Fchat from John!" note sitting on the decklid? Thanks, and congrats!
I'm torn on this one.... either.... Congrats, have fun with it. or How many cars have you test driven before hand? Got any reply regarding the odd IP signatures? Have any pics of you with your new car? Something smells funny and I just took a shower.
Hahahahahahahahahaa....... (breath...breath) Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha......... Yea right! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a questions for you, 6 speed or F1? If F1, how do you get into neutral? Everyone else, please refrain from answering. I honestly, deep down from my heart thank you for making my day, and it just started.
Wow, I am impressed. Got a PPI done between 6pm last night and noon today having only thought of the idea as an afterthought, then have the car delivered cross county. Man, you must really have some cash to grease the palms of those in power of such things. (like spacetime continuum)
I can't even believe this! You guys are on it! But I hope he is telling the truth. Very sad if this is all B.S.
The NY to CA travel ?? He leased a jet from Gentry........heh. World Class Autos (where he posted that he bought the car) is a small dealership in New Brunswick, Canada, according to GOOGLE........no Ferrari's there....... http://showrooms.hebdo.net/4984/5488
I PM'ed this around this morning: Hmm...Somthing is not adding up, the pics of the car in the showroom The pics that toggie posted in the links are clearly the same car, and this 355 does not have a rear grill ...also the OP stated the car was at World Class Autos A quick search on "World Class Autos" show there is quite few dealers around the country with same name, when I spider searched both the name and the car, only one opened and that was on Fabspeeds website under testimoinals.... When you look at just these short facts and with the recent poster in the 360/430 section from Canada and the 430, they sound similiar in posting...hmmm....just some questions I guess
Now why would he say that?? Please explain 1994 - NO 355s for the USA. Please tell me why 1994 was bad...considering there are NONE 1995 - best year ever for the 355. All 355 Challenge cars were based on the 1995 model 1997 - Some sort of problem? please do explain
Here he is again http://www.seadooforum.com/showthread.php?p=28125#post28125 Maybe he can put a towhook on his new F355 to pull the trailer and his 2002 Sea Doo GTX RFI, 2008 Sea Doo RXT-X, 2008 ChrisCraft Launch 22, 2008 Mastercraft Prostar 214
Alright guys, I do own those watercrafts and I did have a problem with my Sea Doo, but I am not a 14 years old whos father is cheating on his mother, that must be another person. Laxequis is not very common, but its is a slang term for lacrosse players that means lacrosse is great, its kind of stupid, but it works as a username. Exquis- Exquisite, which means great, lax- lacrosse its its a new slang term that kids that play lacrosse use. And fine, I did not buy a 355, I am 17, and drive a 1999 Mercedes E320, with 120,000 miles on it that I paid $4,000 for after saving up from working at a marina. But I am doing good in school and just got into Dartmouth, and dream of owning all those cars, its my goal. Sorry for being a fraud, just had a bored weekend, I know you guys are all going to have nasty response and hate me, so I will not come back on FCHat because I know I am not welcome. I have to admit, you guys are good and how do you look up IP address. Sorry for the trouble And btw my family actually owns those boats and we had a problem with one of our sea doos thats why thats there. Also my dad is thinking of seriously buy a Ferrari 355 yellow on black, but probably not until a while, if I were him I would want a red on tan. As of now our families cars are 2005 Porsche carrera S, 1982 corvette, 2007 mercedes s550 dads everyday car, 2007 cadillac escalade - family car, 2007 Audi A4 Convertilbe - moms car, the 355 would replace the corvette. Cheers John
