Very hard to believe much of anything anymore.... oh man, is my faith in the great anonymous interweb ever blown now! :(

    This is very sad.

I dont know if you guys heard about it, but PERRYC turned out to be a complete phony also.

He is not the ecommerce magnate multi-millionaire that he told us all he was. His only car is a Honda Civic, not a murcielago, 360, or anything else he told us he had.

I can post a link to the thread about it, but im afraid the mods would ban me as Gus primarily resides over there and it is a competing forum.

You know all this flaming on you wouldn't have happened if you were just honest, and trying to be a know-it-all. Really, it gets old fast here. All you need to know is GROW UP. 17, wow, I'm 19, and I act my age (hopefully). You came clean way to late. Nice try. When you have a bored weekend, go to addictinggames.com or bored.com . I still don't really trust you, and that's why you should be honest, first impressions are what its all about on f-chat. I admit, I made a couple mistakes, but I apologized. What I asked was what they did, the dreaded question. I learned that, apologized, and then gained their "trust" back (again, hopefully).

Nice ninja edit, but I read what it said before. I think you need to rely more on your brain than on Google. I really don't think we care what it means, atleast I don't. I don't care what school you go to either. Once a liar, always a liar. Get off the internet, and grab a book. and....why would we tell you how to track IPs. It's a "moderator" thing anyways.

Well, you actuall were welcome and if you look at the initial posts they were all helpful and congratulatory.

You kind of screwed this up all by yourself.

You don't really have to embellish your credentials to be part of this community. It's for Ferrari lovers (mostly) not just for Ferrari owners.

And yeah, this group is pretty awesome at finding out stuff that doesn't seem right. Remember the kid peeing on the Ferrari in Canada? Exactly.

You'll get flamed for a while, deservedly so, but just hang low and keep reading and then start participating in a constructive manner.

Btw, my wife used a screen name of Laxfem for a while (Lacrosse Female) :)

I knew he was a phony when he said he wanted a toy car and was looking at a SL63 when using a 997 Turbo as a Daily...

Btw I just wanted to point something out.

I have loved Ferrari's (namely the 355) since I watched boiler room when I was 11. I found ferrarchat one afternoon afterschool googling around. I recieved a warm welcome here initially and subscribed to silver.

    Then I made a mistake.

I was young when I first joined (and still am) and had fell to a MLM pyramid scheme phycho-babble business. My mission was to recruit and I began right away with relatives, friends, family, forums, and then FerrariChat.

Most of the people were telling me best of luck, but stay the hell away from these. A few people laughed at me and made me feel even more terrible than I already had felt after I knew I had made a mistake. Thats the way some people are. They will kick you when they are down because it makes them feel better. Ultimately you must ignore it. I came clean and apologized for my marketing. I realized I was speaking with multi-millionaire business owners that sold real products and not memberships to a pyramid scheme. I made a commitment to start my first business that sold a real product within a year. It took about 5 months, but I did it, selling something I love; Ferrari products.

The point of this post is that we all make mistakes but its how we learn from them and how we respond to our environment. You made a mistake by shredding any chance of obtaining one of the most important things we as humans have in life - trust. I would suggest contributing constructively to this forum and continue to share your love for Ferrari with the fellow enthusiasts.

    Btw, when you subscribe or for people that didnt see it, here's the post I made;

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=173985

It saddens me and almost puts me to tears when I read the thread. That's how embarassing it is to me. But it also shows me how much I have learned in the past 8 months.

Some still resent me because of that post or other reasons. You will not be likeable by everyone you encounter. Just try your best and be the best person you can be and be a success to yourself, that's what matters.

Thank you for manning up and coming clean, abeit a bit late on it. Just remember, be who you are and not how you think the world should see you. :)

With that said, it was entertining watching your thread crumble. :D

The best thing you could do would be to take pictures of all the cars you claim your father has with "John from Fchat" on a slip of paper on the windshield. This will atleast clear some of the clouds that are currently hovering over you and give you an ounce of trust back.

If you fail to do that, nobody will likely take you serious for a long time.

If you were lying about that too, thats a real shame but ultimately better to come clean on that as well then to have to lurking.

Consider it a cheap lesson. Don't pull something like this at Dartmouth when your entire college career and professional future are on the line.
