Hi Joe, Did you replace the tachometer with a factory Stradale tach? This face is a factory face from Stradale. Do you have a source for these?

    Thanks. Tom.

Protected heavily by the Ferrari copyrights.

We don't have the license to reproduce it legally, so we'd prefer to avoid the risk altogether. We have enough legal risk without bringing copyright infringement into the picture.

I should have bought it last year when it was $100. I'm going to buy $1m worth of Ferrari parts and store it in my garage. At this rate I'll double my money in a couple of years :)

It was never $100. When first released, we sold them for $150/ea.

Just did yellow tach - FABULOUS!

Bill, your instructions and PICS were great - could not have done it without your fine post (wouldn't have attempted it without your post).

    Thanks...F

    Brokenarrow,

Super great write up. I may do this mod myself. The quoted link comes up 'product not found'?

It is good to know that the needle color can be changed as I was concerned as to how readable they would be against a different color background.

    GOOD STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Robert, if I go ahead with this, you can come on over and we do both at the same time. Cost of the new dial?

Generation 2, is about two weeks from release. MAJOR thanks to a customer in Florida for all his assistance and advice on this project. :)

For what 'appears' to be a simple item, you'd be amazed at the complexity of manufacturing, components and processes necessary to make it correctly.

Okay, here we go again. I have purchased the new faces Daniel has come to market with, and I must say, it is a must have. It is an incredibly nicely finished product with appropriate screening where it is results in perfect shadow and light throw.

I added some pics to help, a reminder for me and others. When removing the dash guages cluster, you can actually fold it over and on top of the dash, but be careful and very gentle. It makes it real easy to take out the stubborn plugs. Wiggle them horizontally while pushing that black little tab. That damn tar baby crap will get on your hands but don't worry, it's a pain to get off your hands.

I can't stress this enough; take your time, force nothing, and be gentle and patient. It all goes together and comes apart, but requires some smoooth hands.

My observations: wow!! I am really impressed. When Daniel said he had these redone, he's not kidding. I took some time in taking these pictures so they would provide as close as a real world image as possible. They are UNTOUCHED by any photo software. I just slowed down the shutter speed to allow the light to burn in a little to replicate what you would see (for the night shot), and I was successful.

I highly recommend this face. I am just stunned at the quality. Congratulations Daniel, you've really done a great job.

    Have a look....

I was out for a drive last night and am really impressed by the new face, it has great light transfer. It really does seem like it should have been on the car all along.

    Cheers~

    That looks awesome!
Just ordered the yellow one from Daniel.

Is the 6 speed on different from the F1?
I assume the small square window is a delete on the 6 speed one.

Daniel- I would love to do the same thing for my 575M. The 575 Superamerica had a yellow tach face, so there is a precedent.

It appears all your manufacturer would need to do for a 575M tach face would be to add some red to the yellow 360 tach face to make the redline lower. They appear to be identical otherwise.

Any chance of your having some made? Would appear to be a very easy manufacturing change. Would be a bargain even at twice your current price due to the fact only 10% of 360 numbers were manufactured.

OMG! That is freaking AWESOME! Some day I am going to have a 360 Spider and if this has not been done to it then I will be doing it! What a GREAT upgrade! DIY too no less! That is the way it should be!
