    I've just completed a renovation at home, and finally have a home office that I can truly enjoy. It took about 3 months, but it was worth it. I had trenches dug in the floor so I could bury pipes that would carry power, and computer/monitor/USB/FW cables to the desk. The legs are hollow and all the wiring is nicely wrapped and concealed.

    But the centrepiece is a bespoke stainless steel and glass cabinet we designed that houses my F1 World Champion 1:18 collection. It's a labour of love to collect these cars, and seeing them in this display case really shows off the evolution of the sport over the years.

    I've also added some memorabilia (a full-sized replica of Schumi's final Interlagos race helmet, autographed), and a speeding ticket I got in my M5, autographed by Dr. Mario Theissen, Nick Heidfeld, Robert Kubica and Sebastian Vettel. I've mounted on the wall some of my favourite shots I've taken at various races.

    And with my plasma TV, I can close the door, and watch F1 practice, quali and the race in peace!

    We designed it with a local metal fabrication company (in KW). It's stainless steel and glass (some of the SS is polished to mirror-like quality). There's room for 96 cars. After that I either stop collecting, die or rebuild ;)

    haha..sharp eyes! Well, as MB says, it's the only car that the F1 cars can't pass ;) Makes a nice bookmark/placeholder for the current year's championship slot.
