A few times per week, as I pull into the driveway, my cat will be laying there, right in my path. He will not move for anything. Honking and even getting within a few feet of him do nothing. I literally have to get out my car, pick him up, set him down out of the way, everytime!

We also have two yellow labs, who are brother and sister. The 94-pound female is always up for a swim in the pool, and even jumps in sometimes. On the other hand, the 122-pound male is scared to death of it. He will put his front two paws on the pool stairs, get a drink, and then get out. He goes swimming in the lake all the time though. Last winter, I witnessed him break the ice in the shallow water by our dock just to go swimming, as happy as he could be. Go figure...

Lady loves to swim too. She has also broken through ice to play in the water. She will not take a bath, though. I have to take shampoo to the lake, throw a stick in so she can get wet, then lather her up and throw the stick in a few more times.

My cat is addicted to Big Brother (I know it's sad). Everytime I turn off that program he starts annoying me till I turn it back on, and he stops watching when the program is actually over. So from now on it's Big Brother for him upstairs.

We used to have a bunch on wolf hybrids. We trained most of them to pull sleds, amoung other things. Our pure wolf, Mankato, would do it too, but he was smarter than the rest and would stay one step behind so his tag line was slack, and the other dogs did all the work while he just loped along. He was strong enough to out pull the others, just did not see the point in it I guess.
Here he is working with Countach:

My white lab Hondo will bring you a present nearly every time you come into the house after being gone for awhile. Or if you let him in from outside he will go and find you a "present". This present could be anything, one of his toys on the ground, a bottle, a tissue paper, pretty much anything you can find. So he will bring it too you and take it from him and pet him a few times and he is happy.

He also has a smile when he is happy, which I find very cool haha.

And I've caught our little dog benny eating poop and drinking pee. so disgusting. Never let him lick you lol. Just thought I'd share that one, I really dislike that little dog but its namely my moms and my sisters so its alright.

The kids got the girl when she was just a pup about 20 years ago. Now shes about 10 inches across. Best pet we ever had. Buy turtle food once a year. She lives in the back yard and comes out every spring.

I just got a new 2 yr old yorkie a bit over a month ago. If you can get him excited, sometimes he will just go crazy. He will literally run around in the townhome at full speed, doing several laps. It is incredible the speed the little guy can build up in the space of 15 feet or less.

Also, if my girlfriend is walking him and I come out a little bit later, he will recognize me from the other end of the block and will virtually choke himself pulling my girlfriend until he gets to me...

Every time we get a new type of treat for him, he will always be a little cautious. He will sniff them for anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes before he even tastes them. Once he gives it a lick or two, he goes to town, and there is nothing on the face of the planet that will distract him from that treat until it is gone.

Last night we got him some new raw-hide treats. These don't have the knots on the end and are about a foot long. It was really funny watching him try to figure out how to start chewing on it. He will sit (not lay down), and put one end in his mouth, with the other on the floor, and just sit there chomping on it until he gets it down to a more manageable size...

I had a smooth collie named trigger that would get his nose stuck in fast food cups. When we got wood floors put in our house he had to wear 'shoes' he would walk by lifting each foot up REALLY high. He was hilarious.

My Great Dane loves to watch TV. If there is a dog on the screen, she will go after it. She almost knocked the TV off it's stand last week.

My Green Wing macaw knows about 10 - 15 words, and speaks them in context. Us older guys who make a grunting noise when we get up from the couch, or sit down on the couch.......the bird makes the exact same sound when I go to sit down or get up. It's hilarious. Also, if I wave my fingers in his face, he'll say "stop it", and "you're bad". When I go to put him in his cage at night, he says "bed time". When he sees himself in the mirror, he says "pretty bird". Very entertaining pet!

I have a seven year old Beagle (Skip) and he chases helicopters. Whenever one flies over the house he goes nuts and runs after it barking his head off. He doesnt do that to airplanes, just helicopters.

My old cat Kitty used to sleep on his back somtimes. Our other cat LeTigra meowed really weird.. it was kind of like a "Mehh" instead of a "Meow". The other cat Katinka made her tail puffy no matter what happened.

LeTigra brought us a bird through my window one day and was really proud of it.. haha It was the funniest thing ive ever seen. She brought it upstairs and set it there and waited for us to notice. My mom came out of her room and freaked out. She was like "Oh my god!! Why did you guys let the cat bring a bird in the house!?" and Tigra looked at us and purred and was like "Mehh Mehh" rofl... She was such an awsome cat :p

Also, Letigra used to follow us down the street all the time.. heh

I had a beautiful long haired Russian Blue that would sleep on her back with all four in the air. I did not let her outside without me alot but when I did she would be sitting at the curb waiting for me to come home. She knew exactly what time I would be pulling up and then she would walk beside me and stop when I stopped etc etc, she was so wonderful. She was stolen from me by my next door neighbor's.
