I've never put any money anywhere except for cars, going against my parent's strong advice (buy a house, invest the money in the market, etc. etc.). I love the fact that I can say "TOLD YA SO!" Had I bought a house I would be upside down on it, and I most likely would have lost a small fortune in the market. I guess sometimes being young, dumb, and full of you know what pays off.
