    +1 on it being done by Tom Ford.

    There is probably a cheaper version done by Zegna Sport.

    I've found that site as well, however the people on there say it is a y-3 spring/summer design? A jacket in summer? Doesn't make sense but whatever. Any more ideas?

    To me, it looks like a std. jacket that someone had a motorcycle accident in. I can't imagine how you think wearing this would look good unless you just saved the world......lol

    I re-read the thread and I don't see anyone telling you that you are wrong. I just see people voicing their opinions that might help you see a different perspective. By all means purchase it if it makes you happy. Without getting defensive, can you explain what looks so good about this jacket?

    Ah, perhaps i over reacted and misconstrued your post then. Well, the jacket is nice and simple, nothing flashy, and i've been leaning towards a darker waredrobe lately. So the Navy Blue/Black looks good.

    Old news is old...

    The jacket style is called a Harrington and has been around for ages (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harrington_jacket).

    That actual jacket is in fact a Tom Ford. However it is not available to the public.

    You can get a custom made replica (http://www.magnoliclothiers.com/catalog/ specifically the quantum jacket http://magnolic.ipower.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=257&osCsid=79cf38d548e003aa0376f82a991013ff). Or you can get the original (http://www.baracuta-g9.com).

    I was at Bloomingdale's at they had a Ralph Lauren Harrington. Hugo Boss, Diesel, Black and Steel, etc all had them too. Its apparently all the rage.
