So I have my SV sold and the new owner wants the SV logo on the side. It is no longer available and so my local sign shop can make it if I cn provide them with the logo in "vector" format. I was wondering if any of you guys had an SV logo hiding on your hard disk somewhere?

Here is a pic for reference

    Thanks for any help!

    Disclaimer: I detest the logo.

Nevertheless, were it me selling - the buyer would be on his own. After all, what if he doesn't like the way it turned out or changed his mind about the purchase for whatever reason? Then, I'd have a logo on the side of the car... neither of which I wanted.

Well regardless of how we feel it is his car and he wants the logo. The factory has them in stock but the price is a bit on the steep side ;) I am sure someone has a vector of it some where!

    Thanks!

Out of curiosity, what is the factory charge for the decal?

I despised it when the SV was first released, but it's grown on me since. Personally, I think if I was buying a Yellow SV with black wheels and wing, I might (almost) want the decal... not sure. Though, I recall a few cars with terrible decal/color combos... Blue w/ Red lettering, Yellow w/ silver etc

Edit - I see you car is exactly like the Yellow example I cited... I can't say I blame your buyer Steve!

You can always reverse the S & the V to end up with the Victoria's Secret edition like they did all those years back :)

Seriously, the sign shop should be able to vectorize the logo based on the image you showed. Dig around the net for some images of the side of SV's and any decent sign shop should get the size and position dead on. The big thing here is installation not the decal itself. Get a price for the whole thing installed and don't even dream of doing it yourself. Some jobs are best left to the pros.

For sure A LOT cheaper than what Lambo charges for exactly the same thing.

I wouldn't mess with it unless you are a dealer that specializes in this stuff.

Certainly not until you are paid in full for the car.

Let him handle it otherwise you'll end up with nothing but grief.

At most hook him up with the sign shop and then walk away!
