    long shot.......not half......i'm reckoning a longer shot than most think.

    Tarek, have you spoken to anyone independently of Ziad? I just cant believe that this thing is for sale ALL OF A SUDDEN.

    Ziad, nothing against you, its just very ooft, in your face like but such is life.

    If the car is for sale, it will go for a lot more than people think in my opinion.

    Good comment. I've always seen the Enzo from far away while traveling or coming to Lebanon... So few weeks ago, I was bored. There was nothing to do... So I went to take a closer look at the Enzo and see it better. So things just came random... While going there and speaking with the employees, I knew that the car was for sale, and etc... Actually what encouraged me more to go and have a better look is this thread. I had pictures of it so I thought I'd post them here. So you guys encouraged me to go and see it.

    Ziad, you should also know that Tarek would give this car a very good home - a true Ferrari lover who represents the Ferrari community very well - someone deserving of a fine car. I really hope it works out.

    I thought this car was confiscated before Abu Ayash drove it? so how did he put 160 miles on it?

    I was wrong. The car wasn't confiscated before Abu Ayash drove it... It was confiscated after him driving it for about 160-180 miles.

    interesting thread for sure.......

    i really think the more knowledgeable folks here need to chime in and help tarek with an estimated value for this car. what would be a reasonable amount to pay for this car ?
    i believe that if it's in a rough condition it will be a considerable amount to get it back into good shape and then, what would it's value be......?

    If you want my opinion, I'd say they price it at $600,000 USD.

    I totally agree. I'd hate to see our good friend Tarek buy a heap of garbage. Although it has little mileage who knows what those guys at the airport did to it while sitting there. Within minutes they could have fried the clutch or motor up and around the airport. As we've noticed, the engine cover (or something) has been tampered with so there is something there. May not be anything and I am also NOT an Enzo expert by anymeans. Any possibilities of a PPI? I know Tarek has obviously thought of these things....

    We're just watching out for our buddy :D

    Customs in their car auctions always base their pricing on factory list prices. Ferrari was selling the Enzo for around US$600k in 2003. IMO they cannot and will not ask for the same price today for a used 2003 Enzo with this current condition. At least this is how our local customs authorities work when they auction a car.

    The Ferrari Enzo is being sold now a days for more than the MSRP's price since the car is a limited edition.

    Anyhow, I say worst case scenario they ask for this much. As me and you know Tarek, the more you pay inside, the less you get on the price.

    Good luck Tarek! It would be amazing if you get the car. However i am still little bit sceptic since i have also some experience with such miracles...... I have no doubt that Ziad says true and also understand why there is so many unclear things.

    However strange is why someone already did not buy the car before?!As Ziad said, its well know issue in whole area and car sitting there for years. I doubt it was waiting for Ziad´s visit. Be ready for lot of bribes.....Hope the final price will be reasonble, you are the best possible owner.
