If everyone wants more teams in the fight for both championships then these two drivers should stay where they are. If anyone should come to Ferrari and that is "IF" anyone leaves then Vettel is the man.....even Kubica would be good. With Renault coming on stronger now (still dont know how Alonso could out drag HK down the long staight on Sunday when there is supposed to be an engine freeze. Maybe they use a different oil now.:) ) and the Macs and Ferrari already there maybe BMW will bring it on a bit more and we will have a good competition next season. (if the FIA keeps their fingers out of the pie)

    I voted Hamilton
I admit FA has come along way this year, but if he lands in a red car it should be after Kimi leaves on his own.

If I had my way though I still think I would pick LH and RK....

    Good point.

In a way it is fair and ideal for racing that Ferrari has the weakest drivers; they also got the best car.

Alonso is the best driver on the grid but I voted for LH. He will be as good as FA in a few years and has loads charisma. FA can win races as well but LH can grow the sport. F1 is missing that Rock Star since MS left. LH has that charisma that no one else on the grid has today. They are bland to say the least. LH is great for the sport and would become larger than life with more titles in a Ferrari. He would be the motorsports version of Tiger Woods and that would benefit everyone involved.

    Neither.

There is no question that at the moment Alonso is the best there is. I think both Alonso and Hamilton have clearly demonstrated character flaws. They seem to have monopolized that arrogant jerk title.

I would prefer seeing a young driver given the chance, like a Vettel or Kubica.

Knowing Andreas, even if he didn´t win, he WILL make good on his bet. No doubt.

Kubica and Rosberg for the team. LH has not driven a poor F1 car. He lacks the development that gives you. Sure he's great in a fast car and as Nigel Mansell said earlier this year, he is in a group of drivers, who in the right car should be winning, so LH is no surprise to be performing well.

Funny really we have now this: "he lack's development skill " and by that reasoning it's the car that's why he is winning!!, why then isn't HK on his tailcoats, he has the same car!! Like why was LH was on 2XWDC FA's tails last year, in fact beating him! It's like banging your head on a brick wall on here really!! Do you ever think he is going to get offered a seat in a crap car, because the top team's turn him down because they think the same, and don't believe he is the right caliber!! I think not.

Top gear, reminder, same car used by all F1 drivers, the result speak's for it's self.

Easy this is just racing. Development in a less powerful team and driving skill and pushing a not so good car, thats all. I said nothing about him being a poor driver or unable to actually develop a car in testing etc. Mansell addressed who is the best driver in F1 this year sometime ago and I stick by his quote on LH and others it would apply to. I wasnt picking a fight here with you on LH. Frankly Felipe's trashing of Kimi is far more impressive than LH vs Alonso last year. Kimi didnt show up for over half the year and Felipe is the reason Ferrari may get the Constructors trophy.
I am also not stupid enough to think LH would downgrade and thats something I didnt imply here so calm down with this LH lust of yours. I have given him more than due credit and I will be happy to dig that out for you and save you the trouble. I am quite tired of proving my respect to LH here for you. It ridiculous to see how you react with such emotional overdrive to him. Let it go its just racing and most of us have kissed your LH loving fanny enough with our deferrence to him and your support of him on this very Ferrari site. He is just a driver and quite good and fallable like all the rest, including my beloved Kimi who is such a disappointment.

Thanks. Yes you can count on it. Even if the FIA will continue to take Hamilton's points away and he'll never be champion. Which wouldn't be such a bad scenario: The British fans would get angry enough to hang Mad Max from Nelson's column. :)

    Lol.

I was reading a comment today about his negotiations with FOTA re: engines and the journo wrote something like "Max wants to whip through his requests...". Not sure that pun was intended or not, but it made me laugh.

Mad Max was always a nut, but now he is a laughing stock. Time to quit.

:confused:Really? The fact that Massa is "trashing" Kimi who "didn't show up for over half the year" is far more impressive than LH beating Alonso, who did show up and was at the top of his game last year? Are you serious? Do you not see the massive gaping chasm of a flaw in that argument?

I know you like the guy but, come on! I mean that's a really poor argument.

Poor describes Kimi's performance as WDC this year to put it mildly. Consider how poorly Massa was reguarded before the first flag this year, well, his performance against the reigning WDC is quite amazing. Where would Ferrari be without Felipe picking up the complete slack of Kimi. That amounts to an amazing sea change for Massa from last to this year. Its not hard to fathom that frankly. Im a Kimi fan first but he is well anything but the WDC this year. The chasm is the amount of flak he, Felipe, continues to get yet he is the reason Ferrari have a chance at the WDC and the Constructors.

I hope that explains it well enough. Fairly obvious if you have been watching the races this year. Im simply more impressed with Felipe vs Kimi than LH vs Alonso. Its just a personal opinion considering Felipe was never reguarded like LH was even before LH was in F1. Most "experts" certainly never saw Kimi failing and Felipe leading the team for this year, wouldnt you agree?

LH had the same number of wins as Alonso. Kimi not too close Felipe in stats. Check ManipeF1.com for the stats/summary of this year. Not hard to follow the numbers and they dont lie.

Hardly sour. You over react to just about any criticism of LH thats all. I did not denegrate him to any degree in my post.

Michael Shumacher says ""I really rate him very highly because I believe that what he has done in such a short time is incredible. Competing last year with Alonso and being often quicker talks for itself."

You have your opinion, I have mine, no over reaction on my part, I just happen to agree with MS on this.

Thats over reaction ^^^ and quiet a shame you can't keep a lid on it!!
