(My son's teacher thought it was a Mickey Mouse watch because of the 3 dials...)

I too have an ebay habit for Ferrari parts. I'll buy stuff I might need for my car, or anything that looks cheap and marketable.

So far I've bought:
400i V12 Engine (fire damaged)
612 driver's seat
Set of 308 GT4 Wheels
Pair of 308 GT4 leather seats

Made a 100% profit reselling the V12 engine and 612 seat.

 

Rent a POD! It will look GREAT sitting on your front lawn. I've been thinking about having a couple of them plopped in my side yard to store the cars over the winter so I can get my SUV in out of the rain and snow for a change. I know, it's a sickness, but one I'm glad to suffer from. ;-)

 

Bought a hoist so I could stack the projects 2 deep. Ran out of room there and bought a trailer, full now. Rented a semi trailer and filled that with stuff. Started hanging the projects from the ceiling and walls and ran out of room there. Time to build a proper barn with a big hay loft..."its for the horses dear". Wonder how long it will take her to notice there are no stalls

 

I love the "wanted" thread idea.

Any other ideas about how we might communicate with one another so that we don't all end up bidding on something just because it's cool, or we "might" need it in future - thus driving up the price for the fellow F-Chatter who REALLY needs it?

At the very least we 308 owners should stick together, don't you think?

I love the idea of a thread where we can communicate our need for parts. I only have a few because they have to be small enough that they can be hidden from my better half. (Maybe in all those empty shoe boxes)

 

Guys I am all for it. Like right now I need that silly little rounded cover for the screw on my Driver's side door mirror. I found one somewhere but the guy wants $50! Can you imagine paying that much for a little cover to hide the screw in a mirror? Ridiculous if you ask me.

 

LOL! Welcome to Ferrari! Try TRutlands or FerrParts for a used one. Otherwise you need to get the one from Verrell. It is made quite well. (I know, I bought one!)
