I am thinking about trading in the E55 to get a more "family friendly" vehicle. Wondering if anyone has owned an XC-90. Thanks.
Just kidding, a physician friend of mine has had one for two years and loves it. I'll try and get him to respond. I know it has been very reliable . Volvo and Saab owners are a dedicated bunch. I am just waiting for some T-shirts that say Volvo Racing...
I looked at them when we bought our last SUV in '06, decided at the time that it just wasn't big enough for all of us and the 85lb dog. Otherwise liked it very much.
You made the best choice. Glad I didn't wait for the new Sequoia, I think they are fugly, but I would like the additional 2k towing. I'm really happy with the '06 Sequoia.
I don't know how new of a Volvo you're looking for, but I have a 2001 XC70 that I need to sell. Its White/Tan, 122k miles, fully loaded out.
Thanks everyone. There is a very nice 2007 XC-90 for sale at E-Car One. My wife and I looked at a new one about 3 years ago, but she decided in favor of a Honda Odyssey. I liked the way the XC-90 drove, but she wanted a vehicle with sliding doors. If anyone is the market for a well-maintained '99 MB E55AMG with good miles, let me know.
Have had my XC-90 for two years, over 40,000 miles. I would recommend it, and always hope to have a Volvo.
I highly recommend the XC90. I've been doing body work on Volvos for several dealers in the Dallas area for 22 years and there is no safer vehicle on the planet. Buy it.
