    You're talking about the 355?

I know the f1 lives here in Porirua(as strange of a place as that is for it to live haha), Well Plimmerton to be exact.

No I'm afraid. quite a shame really. I remember that he was contemplating weither or not to put it on display at the 2 Hot 2 handle show but the year he was going to they stopped doing it :(
I've only ever seen it twice and wow, It just blows you away. The sound is amazing.

No one has any photos of it. But I hope to catch it out and about this week.

Haha I was thinking about doing a stakeout outside the whittakers chocolate factory in hopes of snapping a few pics haha

I am not sure who he would have service it over here, perhaps they fly in a qualified tech?

Seeing that thing would be a life long memory. (Please don't leave home without your camera!!!) :)

    Indeed it would.

I'm guessing he would have someone flown over because I honestly can't see him taking it down to the local to get it done lol.

pfft you don't have to tell me twice haha 1st time I saw it I had my stupid phone in hand but I was soo shocked at the fact that I was seeing a Mclaren drive past me(In Porirua no less:D) that I never thought to get a snap, And the 2nd time my stupid phone was dead:(

This time I'll be fully prepared!

There used to be only 1 mechanic in NZ qualified to work/ service the car. He repaired/ serviced the car after it had a little accident many years ago. He used to work up in Auckland out of a non-descript factory in Onehunga.

The Auckland one is blue and has GTR mods.

The photo below with plate MCL F1 is not the NZ car.

Yep it is the one from singapore.

A bit of history to that particular car.

That car is technically one of only two like it in the world.

It started off as a normal f1 but was bought by someone, taken bake to Mclaren and had LM fittings put on the engine(exhaust etc.). Then it went back and got the HDF Kit put on it. Many other things done to it also. There's only 1 other in the world with the same specs on it.

edit: Btw I heard that the F1 up there now has the MCL F1 license plate on it. Can't remember which site said it but can you confirm? Cheers

Ah yes That's the one. Very unique car. I assume the owner knows this?

The only thing that separates that from being an LM is the colour and The badge.
