Had my car out 4 days in a row, its almost my DD We were graced by nice weather down under so using my car was the only option, took it out after work on Thursday and Friday, Thursday night was out the north east side of town into some nice flowing back roads then Friday night was out the north west side, plenty of fast corners out this area and more than a tank of gas used in one night , then into the city for a quick drive by some of the clubs . Then on Saturday I took it to work for the morning and went kroozing Saturday afternoon, no where particular, just round town and to see a few friends. Today we had a club run on, top down weather all day, some excellent sections of road and some not so nice road works resulting in a couple of stone chips . But the weather was great! I'm a little sun burned and nearly ran out of gas at the end of the run! It has been a fantastic few days, my car is running like a champ and the more i used it the better it felt, I washed it this afternoon, cleaned up the engine bay, gel the tyres, cleaned the glass, cleaned the leather, vacuumed........and its now snugly away, clean, dry and warm till the next lot of fine weather, I'm hoping that is tomorrow! There's nothing I enjoy more than weekends like this one, these cars were made to be driven, life is short, drive a Ferrari. 52,000 km is sweet brother!! Drive the wheels off it, you only live once. I have done around 6,000 km in over 3 years! I wish we had better roads out here so it would be more enjoyable to drive. Nice brother, outside home, pre spacers and at work? Can't pick the first one, some random place around the Isa? You car looks great Pap, we had a 348 along on the run today, they are a cool car and they sound nice also. There is one currently for sale over here, it is in fantastic condition with very low kms (~15k from memory) they are asking $115 but I recon $90 would drive it away. I'm a few years away from that though, and I don't buy red Ferrari's
Just put my memory card in, checked all 3 VIN's I got today, all of them are in there. How many VIN's do you have from New Zealand now? About 23 355's here I think...
Looks like a great time James.. Glad to hear you have been getting to drive her all the time. Looks like it was a pretty nice turnout for the run.. I wish we could get that many cars to get together. Most of the time we can only get about 5 cars to show up on a good day...
Great pictures, James! Speaking of pictures..... I've put less than 60 miles on my F355 in almost 4 months. SAD! I'll get those 360 CH steering wheel pictures to you ASAP. I canceled my original order for a Olympus Stylus 850 SW (back-ordered for over a month!) and ordered it through another company that had it in stock. I'm really sorry about the delay. I made poor Robbie wait for over 2 weeks just to mail him a package. I'm a bad, bad boy!

Hey Reg, thanks brother, it was a fantastic few days. There was a good selection of cars on the run and a total number of 17, that is a good turn out around here, we will have more on the Christmas run though, looking forward to that one. LOL ya goof, Yellow is a lighter colour, therefore a yellow car is lighter, therefore it would go faster!!!
you cant beat days like that for taking the car out. i love going on drives with my top down... had it out this saturday and went and watched some football games... btw, just for kicks, thought i would open her up a bit on the highway.. hit 150 pretty quick here is one of my fave pics of me and some friends out by the Texas Memorial... That is a great photo!!! I love the line up, yellow 348's are very rare over here, in fact I have never seen a yellow 348 in NZ. Your car looks great.
