I can't find anyone who sells it. I would like to buy a small jar with the small paintbrush cap....like the touch-up paints you see in auto supply stores.

Of course I need corsa rosso......do Ferraris come in any other color????

I purchased VW tornado red at autozone for a few small chips on the front end of my rossa corsa. Matches very well.

Paintscratch dot com has touch-up red for the '80 308 -- matched my '77 quite well.
Primer and paint come in tubes like magic markers, with felt tip ends

Some PPG shops can make the color for you, might be the best way to go.

paintscratch.com made up some single-stage Rosso Corsa 300 that matched my 328 absolutely perfectly.

To look for touch up for my '84 QV. Mine is Nero in color. They have TWO neros, however. One is "nero metallic clearcoat" and the other is simply "nero." Black 308 Ferraris are just nero right? The obviously are clearcoated too, so I'm confused here.

    Help is appreciated always.

Nero metallico (901/C) is clear coated. I don't believe the basic nero (1240) has clear coat. Nero metallico is rare, but you'd know if you have it.

Yes, they come in many other colors. Just ask Steve McQueen or me. ;)

Before using the brush that comes with the paint, visit the Griots Garage website and pick up a set of their touch-up tools. They make an incredible difference -- no more blobs, just neat fills.

And at paintscratch they make the statement that most all paint jobs prior to 1980 are non-clear coat, but almost all afer 1980 are clear coat paint jobs. Mine is a 1984 QV and yours is a 1985 QV, why don't both have clear coat?

I think if you read your post you have answered your own question.

Ferrari was late to the 2-stage ballgame.

Another vote for paintscratch.com here. I've gotten several touch up paints from them for different cars, including the Ferrari, and they have always matched perfectly, really decent products, fair price. My $.02.

to resurrect an old thread, I have nero 1240, paintscratch only has it as a base and clear in seperate bottles, called a local paint shop, same deal. Does anyone know if my car is set with base/clear. 1987 Mondial. I have so many chips i'd sure like to do a single stage for touchup but also don't want the repairs to stand out, if I have to do 2 stage I will.

Thanks, I was at first going to steer away from this, but I'll give it a shot. My car has chips large and small as well as rash basically all over the nose and both doors. My car has been enjoyed a lot by the prior owners. Now the question is do I do half the front for a before and after picture or start with the big stuff and slowly work to the minor rash.

I was going to ask about this place...I have a couple of chips and I've used Paintscratch.com in the past with good color matching results.
