    Like most of you in the winter climates, I use this stuff in my cars for the winter. Can it cause any problems? Ruin gaskets? Dissolve hoses? Etc?

    Just curious...

    Used for years and years in all kinds of cars, engines. Never a problem. A worthwhile additive.

    I've used Stabil in my vehicles and lawnmowers, snowblowers etc for decades, never a problem.
    The alternative is gas turning similar to varnish in your fuel system.
